What do I need to do?

Well, apparently your hair has been over processed. My suggestion would be; to use a reconstructor to strengthen your strands. You should hold off on a relaxer until the integrity of your hair has been restored.

My hair is dull and lacks luster. What is your suggestion?

My question to you would be are you relaxing your hair at home? Most home relaxers are made with a calcium component. Calcium gives the hair a dull appearance.

The only thing you can do is go to reputable stylist and ask for a sodium relaxer. A sodium relaxer will strip the calcium off of the strand. This will give your hair a natural glow.

My hair is broken terribly in the nape area. What is the problem?

Are you giving yourself a relaxer at home? If so, you cannot see well enough to properly rinse the nape. I suggest going to a healthy hair stylist who will nurture your hair. Or are you going to a stylist who is not shampooing and conditioning correctly? You should shop around for another stylist who cares about the health of your hair!
